“You're Not Meant to Do This Alone”
Some of the most meaningful growth in our work happens in conversation—with mentors, colleagues, teachers, and communities that help us think more deeply and see more clearly.
Whether you're learning something new, refining skills you've used for years, or navigating uncertainty in your clinical work, you don't have to do it alone.
I'd be honoured to be part of your learning journey.
Learning a Modal to Trusting Yourself in the Room
Clinical training, consultation, and mentorship for therapists who want to deepen their skills, strengthen their confidence, and develop their own authentic way of working.
Whether you're newly trained, pursuing certification, or years into your clinical journey, growth doesn't happen through information alone. It happens through practice, reflection, community, and the willingness to stay curious.
The Space Between Learning and Practice
If you've ever left a training feeling inspired and excited, only to find yourself sitting with a client wondering how to apply what you've learned, you're not alone.
Therapy is complex. Real people rarely fit neatly into a protocol, and even experienced clinicians can find themselves questioning what to do next.
That space between learning and practice is where I most enjoy teaching.
Through training, consultation, and mentorship, I help therapists bridge the gap between understanding a model and using it with confidence, flexibility, and intention. My goal is not simply to teach techniques, but to support therapists in developing the confidence to think critically, trust themselves, and remain connected to the person sitting across from them.
Because while models matter, relationships matter too.
What Shapes My Teaching
Some of the most important lessons I've learned as a therapist didn't come from a textbook or a training room.
They came from moments of uncertainty. From sitting with difficult questions, seeking consultation, making mistakes, and learning alongside mentors and colleagues who challenged me, supported me, and helped me grow.
Those experiences continue to shape the way I teach today.
I believe therapists learn best when they have space to be curious, reflect openly, ask questions, and practice without the pressure of having to get everything right.
Growth doesn't happen through perfection.
It happens through community, reflection, and experience.
“I first met Sadia when she assisted an EMDR training in Asia, and later I received the supervision required for my EMDR Certification from her.
As someone who learned and received supervision in my second language, one of the things I appreciated most was her ability to understand not only the words I was saying, but also the meaning and nuance behind them. She created a learning environment where I never felt rushed or misunderstood.
What stood out even more was her sensitivity to cultural context. Learning psychotherapy across cultures often requires thoughtful contextualization, and she consistently demonstrated an ability to understand and work within my cultural background rather than assuming a one-size-fits-all approach. Her supervision was both clinically insightful and culturally responsive, making the learning process deeply meaningful and practical.
I am truly grateful for her thoughtful guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and culturally attuned EMDR trainer and consultant.”
