Trainings and Workshops
My workshops and trainings are designed to help therapists build genuine clinical expertise—not simply learn a protocol. Grounded in current research, clinical experience, and years of teaching and consultation, each training combines practical skill development with opportunities for reflection, discussion, and experiential learning.
A two-day advanced skills workshop for EMDR-trained therapists who want to move beyond memorizing the protocol and begin thinking like EMDR clinicians. Rather than focusing solely on what to do, we'll explore why we do it—strengthening your understanding of the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, sharpening case conceptualization, and building the clinical judgment needed to adapt confidently and ethically to the complexity of real-world practice.

A two-day workshop that explores how EMDR can be used to understand and treat the impact of systemic and racial trauma. Drawing on the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, participants will learn to conceptualize experiences of oppression, discrimination, marginalization, and intergenerational trauma as clinically relevant memory networks that can be meaningfully integrated into EMDR treatment.
a six-week experiential group designed for therapists who want to deepen their understanding of Internal Family Systems by beginning with the person they know best—themselves. Through guided experiential exercises, reflection, discussion, and practice, participants will learn to identify and build relationships with their own parts while cultivating greater access to Self-energy. Together, technical competence and Self-led presence create the foundation for meaningful, transformative therapeutic work.
“A few years after completing EMDR Basic Training, I connected with Sadia to join her BIPOC EMDR consultation group. I appreciate Sadia's authenticity as a teacher. She shares her expertise in a clear, patient way. She allows plenty of time for clarifying questions, which I appreciate. Although we are all at different stages in our learning and clinical orientation, I'm struck by Sadia's capacity to honor each of our differences. I'm grateful to have found a welcoming, supportive group as I work on finding greater confidence as an EMDR practitioner.”
